Hip Slides
Hip Slides: In basic position, with arms out to sides at shoulder level. Keeping the upper half of the body still, slide the hips to the right and to the left. Objective is to keep the arms and the upper body completely still--only the hips move to the right and left on an imaginary line.
Also, do not raise the hip up or twist forward when sliding. The hips should remain level at all times. See below. |
